From Laura's letter dated Tuesday, February 23rd:
Yesterday we went to the referral center where we call in and confirm deliveries of requested videos and such. I did the first few in English and finally got my courage up to call Spanish speakers. It's nerve racking enough to call anyone and then I get more nervous and my Spanish is shaky. But it was great and I actaully talked to 3 people in Spanish. Most of the time no one answers. But one man was willing to let the missionaries bring him another video and all three said they would like anything about Christ. As we were leaving I told my companion it's a good thing we're not these people's only contact with the church!
Laura loves her companion and the sisters in her district. She also enjoys seeing people she knows. (Ammon Finch, Spencer Gleave, Kevin Reece, two sisters and one elder from Institute in Flagstaff, Elliot Crosby). She was anticipating seeing her best friend Anna when she arrived last Wednesday. She doesn't particularly like the food and trying to stay awake on so little sleep.
